Welcome to ActiveBody Therapy Clinic, where we make bodily movement easier, regardless of athletic ability or age.

 

Movement is something we often take for granted. But during times of injury, the body’s natural attempt to compensate can change our movement patterns. The original injury may heal but these adapted movement patterns can remain, causing recurrence of the problem or even fresh injury to other parts of the body.

 

Whether for high-level sport, for recreational exercise or for day-to-day life, functioning freely and without pain requires fluid movement – and a key part of that revolves around stabilising the body.

 

Here at ActiveBody, we understand that.

 

We carry out visual assessments; we analyse posture; we work to stabilise the weak and underused muscles, while releasing those that are tight or overused.

 

We assess the feet, legs, pelvis, spine, shoulders and head. And in addition to examining bodily movement during exercise, we assess bodily posture when at rest.

 

That enables us to tailor our treatment specifically to your body, your activities and your lifestyle - freeing you up to achieve your physical goals with greater comfort, greater clarity and greater confidence.
